In 2005, the architectural landscape looked very different. As a property developer in Chicago, Garrett

 Obluck was on a mission to build "green," but he kept hitting a wall. Recognizing the void Garrett had uncovered, his wife Jenna, a lifelong advocate for the planet, saw a vital opportunity to lead a shift in the industry. Leveraging her deep-rooted commitment to the environment and Garrett’s creative vision, Jenna founded Gilasi Glass Countertops on June 13, 2005.

As the owner of this 100% woman-owned manufacturing company, Jenna provides the mission-driven leadership, while Garrett’s craftsmanship and expertise drive the production of the high-design, eco-conscious, and safe materials the world was missing. Together, they pioneer the creation of better, safer, and stunning recycled glass surfaces for both commercial and residential design.
